Short summary: In 1944, General Eisenhower (Brendan Fraser) has to decide if it is safe to go ahead with the D-Day invasion in early June, but must weigh conflicting advice from a Scottish meteorologist (Andrew Scott) and an American meteorologist (Chris Messina).
The hero of the movie?
Data.
The villain?
The misuse of data.
I can’t tell you more without spoiling a key point, but I will tell you it’s during the “horsesh&t” scene.
Riveting.
And yes, people who don’t love data will love the movie, too.
